Totnes Festival 2012
"An arts forum for the creative community of Totnes"
The Totnes Festival is an inclusive platform for the arts and culture in Totnes and we welcome submissions from everybody. The Festival is focused on the uniqueness of Totnes and looks to actively include local, regional and global contributions. We are an umbrella for varied events, performance and sharing. The festival steering committee's core values are to be supportive, empowering and creative.
We hope for the festival to attract people who are Totnes-based, both physically and spiritually. We would also like to welcome those people who have roots in Totnes, but have moved away from the area, to get involved.
This year's festival will take place over a fortnight, from Sunday 19th August - Sunday 2nd September 2012.
If you are interested in setting up an event for the Festival please contact us via email to request a submission for and to be added to our mailing list. The deadline for submissions is the end of May 2012.

Through our festival, people from the area celebrate all aspects of local (and not so local) life including art, dance, theatre, film, music, outdoor events, ecology… or perhaps they just want to demonstrate that community spirit is alive and well in Totnes! Once again the people, organisations, charities, businesses and institutions of the town have pulled out all the stops to put on a festival that promises to be as diverse and vibrant as Totnes itself.
We invite you to Totnes to be a part of the party.
